Welcoming
You should not need to already know someone, understand the system or feel confident before you walk through the door.
About Never Too Old to Play
I created Never Too Old to Play because I believe people need more local places where they can walk in, feel welcome, connect with someone and have a reason to try something new.

A little about me
I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, educator and the founder of Play Move Improve.
For more than 10 years I have built programs, educational content, social media communities and practical resources designed to help people feel more capable and supported.
What I have learned over that time is that people do not only need information.
They need places where they can ask questions, be seen, laugh, create, move, talk things through and feel like they belong.
Why this place exists
Seniors may need more reasons to move, laugh and stay socially connected.
Teens may need places to spend time with other people without pressure.
Small business owners may need somewhere to work, create, ask questions and stop feeling like they are doing everything alone.
Community facilitators may need an affordable local space where they can bring useful ideas to life.
What matters to me
You should not need to already know someone, understand the system or feel confident before you walk through the door.
Adults are allowed to laugh, be creative, try something new and enjoy themselves too.
I like useful ideas, honest conversations and support that helps people actually do something.
I do not want this to feel like a faceless system. I want people to know there is a real person listening.
My experience
My background as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist shapes the way I think about movement, confidence, mobility and participation.
I have years of experience creating practical learning, workshops, resources and professional development.
I understand the reality of running a small business, creating offers, finding customers and trying to keep momentum when you are doing a lot yourself.
I have spent more than a decade building Play Move Improve through education, content and social media, and I enjoy helping others get clearer about what they want to say.
The local focus
I want this to be a genuinely local space where people from Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Mooroolbark, Croydon, the Yarra Ranges, Maroondah and nearby communities can come together in person.
The goal is not to become a giant anonymous platform.
The goal is to create something useful enough that local people actually come through the door and get to know one another.
You do not need to create an account or work out the perfect place to ask.
You do not need to know which page your question belongs on. Just ask.
